Judy Keeler
Born and Raised in Calgary, I have always had an interest in art, particularly drawing. For the past 25 years, my family and I have had the privilege of living overseas. Kuwait, Trinidad, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore, plus the wonderful US cities of San Francisco, Houston, and Santa Fe have given me a wealth of visual material to work with. I have been able to develop my skills in oils and watercolours by participating in several active art groups in some of these locations; learning and sharing ideas with many talented artists. Over the years, I have taken workshops and lessons in both of these mediums finding I enjoy painting in a very realistic style – water, people, and subjects with perspective. The angles, light, and detail draw me in! My artwork has been a wonderful way to connect with people and to look at the world in a different light…

I just want to tell you how much I love your new work – New Horizons is stunning – and of course your rose is amazing.
It was nice to see your art work, it is like making a connection .
As a artist you must see landscapes, people and objects with more detail than
what I see when I take a picture. The Rose is lovely.
